Beginning to End

by Jonathan Blair   Nov 25, 2006

The End is feared,
The beginning Celebrated,
Which way to go,
Why stay and celebrate the beginning?
Why not go and Venture towards the End?
Why do we play it safe?
Why dont we take chances?
I feel nothing but Pain,
Nothing but sorrow,
Regret,
Anger.
Standing over top watching the rage inside of me burst,
Punching,
Kicking,
Swearing,
Crying.
A tear hits the ground and I stop.
I stop to ask myself why I'm crying.
Stop and ask myself why I'm punching,
Kicking,
Swearing.
And yet I still cannot answer these questions.
I celebrated the beginning,
I feared the end,
All that is left to be celebrated and feared is,
My death.
All of this can be over and Celebrated,
All of this can be feared by me,
And the ones who might Love me.
I make the decision,
Live or,
Die.
Nobody else but I.
Celebrate beginnings,
Fear the ends.
