The Final Chapter

As I lay to rest
My mind wanders to and fro
Thinking of futures dreams
Wallowing in past regret
I wonder what could have been
As my time is quickly advancing
Sooner then what people think
But I know the time is near
I wonder if my destiny has been fulfilled
Is my job complete
Or my time in this place a failure.
It will be like a thief in the night
Striking with out warning
Ground rattling to the deepest abyss of this world.
If my time is near
I shall not fear
I fought the fight
Even if I haven’t won the battle
The war rages to eternities end
And I guarantee I will see the final battle
