A Little Woman

by TRAGiC BEAUTY   Nov 27, 2006

Look at this little woman
Make-up and all that
Looking in the mirror
Saying that she's fat

Thinking up an excuse
For why she was home late
Even though we all know
She had too much fun on a date

She was always daddy's little girl
Now she's growing up too fast
Look at her, she's growing
The good times won't always last

She's living her own life
Mommy and daddy observe
They don't interfere anymore
Too many times they've heard

"Mommy, daddy, back off
I don't need your help
You don't need to tell me
I need to love myself

I understand life is hard
I know what world I'm in
I was always your little girl
Now, I'm your little woman"
