A New Kind of Vampire

by Thoughtless Consideration   Nov 30, 2006

Oh, my dear little frog.
No doubt here, you're the most beautiful of them all.
With your bright, flashing colors,
And your cute little eyes.
There's no doubt that you are
Reason he smiles.
Too bad he feels like he can't touch you,
Too bad if he did, he would die.
Poor little frog,
So fierce and such a loner,
Nobody can come near you,
Or else they might as well be an organ doner.
There's no first kiss for you,
Or else your lover will be dead.
Nobody left to cry with,
No more "I love you"'s left to be said.
Poor little frog,
You can come out only in the day,
Where you can show off your poisonous colors,
And whisper weakly to the world, "back away."
Poor little poison frog,
Always ready to fight,
You're a new kind of vampire-
One who can't fall in love;
Or come out at night.

Aww that's so sad but i really liked it. I thought that the way you described and compared it to things really made it stand out in a good way.
