Snow

by alone in the crowd   Nov 30, 2006

Silently falling into a blinding blanket
enveloping dreams in a freezing caress
an invitation for roaring fires, moonlit walks, and icy windowpanes
a celebration of small children's joy
a reminder of individuality and freedom to fall into our rightful place
weather's expression of emotion
quietly painting eyelashes white and cheeks pink
bringing snowmen to life and dreams alive
