True colours

by Jen   Dec 1, 2006

You seem so jealous of me,
and do your best to spoil it,
your nasty words all filled with lies,
but its not working can't you see.

The more you do it,
the less it works,
they have realised now,
that your a bunch of jerks.

At first they listened,
and took into account,
but now they have realised,
your nasty pieces of work.

Every time they listened to you,
there appeared that smirk,
that your lies had gotten through,
it had driven me beserk.

But now the smirk,
has shifted faces,
and its mine to keep,
the frown it replaces.

Lying is pointless,
and now you know,
its time to confess,
and let your true colours show.

It was a good poem with a strong message hun.
Really good flow, just one stanza stood out though because it didn't ryhme when the rest did.

    "At first they listened,
    and took into account,
    but now they have realised,
    your nasty pieces of work."

    Apart from that, excellent!
