I would like to say what I really feel,
Not know a moments regret.
To forgive all my past indescretions,

Make right all the things I've done wrong,
Find the strength to face my demons,
Know I can't always be strong.

I would like to make someone's life brighter,
Smile through darkness and tears,
Learn from someone who is wiser than I,
Go back now and then through the years.

I would like to be humble and grateful,
To reach for the stars and dream on,
Just for a moment be on top of the world,
Not dwell on the things I've done wrong.

I would like to appreciate all the luxuries I have,
I know I need not want for more,
Not take one more second for granted,
Get out in the world and explore.

I would like to be self-motivating,
And not stop here just at dreams,
To realize its just me that's holding me back,
Making life harder than it seems.
