Absent

by Madison   Dec 4, 2006

Everywhere I look, I see your face-
Memories so wrenching I can
Hardly speak without a
Silent tear streaking my face.

Removed from my real surroundings
I'm here, but absent, the memory
Of you, playing on repeak in my head
Until I want to scream.

The ceinling is collapsing on my
Imaginary world, in which you
Have never left and the memories
Are reality and my current events.
