Blinding Light

by Madison   Dec 4, 2006

You can't touch me anymore
Because I've cut the rope you thought
Was tied securely about my neck,
Binding me to your conformity.

The blinding light you chose to be
Immersed in, with no release, is more
Than I could hold, considering the
Darkness already present (in your eyes).
