I cried

by katie!   Dec 5, 2006

The chilled air, it passed through me this evening
As the leaves howled and mourned, I cried
For what is, what was and what never will be
As the lights flickered and the people turned, I cried

There is something about the echo of memory
I thought I had left what I was behind, but still, I cried
As I stare into that reflection, trying to see something
But I just saw myself, and who I thought I'd lost, I cried

Oh when I fall to my knees on the dirt stricken road
When the dirts spills itself upon my very soul, I cry, yes I cry
The rain soaks me and the bloody skies pour their hearts out
As I lay myself down inside my earth coffin, I cry, yes I cry

Somebody, anyone please show me, show me something
Because I know where I am going, As I die, I know I die
The leafs rustle underfoot when I leave my body to fall
Save me, I beg of you 'fore I must die, I know I die

I found the poem curiously disturbing and yet it drew me in. Some lines were pure magic.

..And that's wht u are.And i'm with you in whtever you do.
    All the best.
    Adios,
