Arms Of Yesterday

Everything was going the way i wanted to
Until we came face to face once again today
Time stood still, as nothing passed us through
And i was caught in the arms of yesterday

I guess words simply lost their way
As our eyes tried to confess it all
Simply stood like two simulacrum
With hidden tears waiting to fall

There was a sad face in your eyes
And it was staring right back at me
Those frozen hands around your thighs
Could only set this bitterness free

Almost everyday such imaginations enter my mind
And then leave me alone with feelings so unkind
I guess without you my life is meant to drift away
So i could sleep forever in the arms of yesterday
