They love what you dont see

by Kenneth   Dec 10, 2006

Love is great filling you with such happiness
Making your heart skip a beat forgetting sadness
But it can make you blind and naive
making your heart and mind believe
That your love is for the person your with
in reality it is the idea that your in love with
So you quickly fall in love with whoever is near
Trying to fill your heart to end your fear
Of being alone with no one to care about you
You starve for their love and sympathy too
You are willing to do anything to keep their attention
And fear so much their disappointment and rejection
But in this you overlook those who love you
Even when you ignore them they stay true
Never leaving, staying to catch you when you fall
Even if the pain forces them to crawl
Because they love you even if you don't
Love yourself and you won't
See the beauty inside your own heart

That was a nice poem and so true how some fall in love with love but not who their with. Good point...your rhyme scheme was a bit lost, but i did like it.
