Needing a Miracle

by Dark Kitten   Dec 10, 2006

Call it what you will,
But I can still feel the pain,
As deep and as empty as the vastness of space,

I still hear the voice,
Inside of my mind,
Though I fear its just the same words all over again,

Its hard when you feel as alone as I do,
Its hard to distinguish the memories,
The good, the bad, I cant tell the difference anymore,
Not when I feel as empty as this,

The wrench of my sobs,
Alone and unheard,
As invisible and silent as the very air,
The boundless sea,

Color blind is the world around me,
The beauty of this Earth?
Not given to me,

Though star upon star,
Acknowledged,
Each one,

Yet me has it seemed,
I'm unworthy of love?

Amazing,
Is it not?
How life runs about,
Giving gifts to the selfish,
Empty hands to most else.
