I Will Always Love Her...

She's freaking out,
I try to calm her
that makes her cry.

She leaves the room,
like a puppy I lovingly
follow. We talk for a
while, then she freaks
on my brother and
leaves the room again;
I cringe as I hear her
sobbing in the other
room.

Doesn't she know I'm
scared too?
Doesn't she know It's
not her I'm mad at?
Doesn't she know I'm
scared to hold her,
because she's got me
so frightened with those
tears; that I'm fighting
my own fears?

Should I hug her?
but why should I
she won't listen to me?
I understand her,
just wish she'd let me
help her instead of
pushing me away.

It's time for her to
go, I act as if she's
the one I'm mad at;
but inside I'm dying
for her,
trying for her.
I need her here,
but I need her to go
so I can meditate.

As she begins pulling
away, she jumps out
of the car after me.
She stares up at me;
what am I suppose to
say, we're both hurting
but I can't let her see
it.

With that melting
smile. and those tears
in her eyes she tells me
how sorry she is.
I want to scream and tell
her it's okay, I hesitate;
standing in the cold, seeing
the fear in her eyes I say :
It's gonna be okay I'm not
mad at you. I love you baby!"
I hug her close, our fears
connect and our hearts
befriend; of course I forgive
her, she's my baby and I
will always love her.

Kissing her softly,
she pulls away,
I know she must leave,
wish she could stay forever
in my arms, but that day
will soon come.

She begins to walk away,
and as she begins to
fade in the distance, our
hurt reigns in me.
It's like sometimes all
we see is our pain,
and now we'll both stay
up all night for the same
damn thing.

Still she's forever my baby
gurl and I will always love
her.
