Their World For A Day

by David Munoz   Dec 15, 2006

It's only there for a moment
When it'll happen none can say
When you will enter bliss
And be someones world for a day

For that one time
All that matters is you
As if standing together alone
Conscious only of what you do

But as the sun sets
And as the new day has begun
You try and be the world
And find its taken by another one

The world you once owned
Is now yours no more
In the hands of another
With the same fate in store

You would trade your world away
Just to be in theirs
Giving everything away
Without a hint of cares

Your life stripped for them
Your future whirled
Bleeding for another day
Just a taste of their world
