Smiling Again

by Thoughtless Consideration   Dec 16, 2006

It's windy today-
Mother Nature is feeling playful.
It's windy today,
I walked outside,
And I was just swept away.
The hard breeze blew me off me feet-
Ushered me out of my depressed sleep.
Floating on air,
While the clouds sweep away my utter despair.
Dancing from star to star,
Who knew that there was so much to see?
Who knew there were so many things to be?
You're not worth my tears,
I'll push you to the back of my mind.
Because it's windy today-
I'll just leave my fears behind.
I had a chat with the moon,
Told her to shine a little brighter.
She smiled warmly at me,
And whispered, "You're no fighter."
I tapdanced across the trees,
Swaying gently in the wind and the breeze.
You're smile haunted me-
I took your hand and whisked you away.
And you whispered with awe, "Isn't it rather windy today?"
