You Never Knew (A Suicide Note)

A girls committed suicide
and left only a note,
she took her paper, favorite pen,
and this is what she wrote:

To whom it may concern;
I'm sorry to leave you like this.
You wouldn't understand it,
It's Love you must dismiss.

Real sorry about the blood, Mom.
Please try not to forget me.
Take good care of my little brother,
hope I was who you wanted me to be.

I'll always be your little girl, Daddy.
And take this as my last request,
Please quit smoking, say you'll try,
I want you to live life your best.

Hows it goin', little brother?
I'm sorry to screw up your life.
But promise me one day you'll grow up,
find some kids and a lovely wife.

I looked up to you, big brother.
You were always there and willing.
I never, wanted you to leave.
Some pretty big shoes I'd be filling.

You couldn't of known, best friend.
Everything happened so fast,
I'm sorry I never got to say goodbye.
Good thing the memories last.

You meant a lot to me, boyfriend.
But times gotta go on, right?
Don't waste your life regretting;
remember us with morning's light.

Sorry I wasn't quite perfect, family.
I tried to be a good role model.
But remember me for who I was,
and not how I died in a puddle.

This wasn't a pass around secret, friends,
I can't believe I hid it so well.
Please bring cake to my funeral,
and some stories you can tell.

Always looking out for me, guy friends.
Protecting me from myself.
Cheering up my worst days,
find another little girl to help.

I tried my best, teachers.
It's not you job to watch the suicidal.
Sorry to disappoint your hopes,
Death's like a final recital.

This isn't the way I wanted to go,
But life's just gotten to hard.
I don't even know where to turn anymore,
all of my exits were barred.

Sorry to leave you in confusion,
this is a clear as is can be.
Remember me as I was to you,
and then let everyone see.

Then she signed it goodbye,
and one cut ended it all
We found her and this
in the room down the hall.

We had a beautiful girl;
and her life in our hands.
But we lost her to early
to Love's harsh commands.
