She commited suicide, but lives on in my heart...

She was my best friend
so great, so true
but fell into depression
and i didn't know what to do

for weeks and weeks
she lived on without a life
then one day without warning
she made a decision and grabbed a knife

she was only 12 and to young to die
i really miss her so
she was a great friend
oh why, why did she have to go?

i knew her for 10 years,
and i hate that dreaded day
when she took the knife to her throat
oh why didn't she stay?

i miss you a lot
i miss you still
i will miss you know
and i always will.

when i wrote this, i was thinking about my best friend and me. i wrote it as her telling the story about me, because lately i am so depressed and i have actually thought about suicide. hope you like it!
