No Love For My Soul

by Sarah Ann   Dec 26, 2006

Being that much of a disappointment
Why don't you walk away
If you are tired of pretending
There is so much good to say

And if to you I'm an embarrassment
Leave me, and I will let you be
Take me out of your gold portrait
And you'll free from misery

If you've no love for my poor soul
And your heart has bought this claim
Then I will leave you in your bigotry
If I drive upon you shame

If my existence is a great burden
Hurt me. Kill me apace,
For I don't want to live in memories
If my mark will bring disgrace
