Rescue Me

Another older poem...

Chaos in my head,
Telling me to do the wrong.
Painful shrieks contradicting them,
Causing me pain and agony.

I'm hurting deep inside,
Trying hard to hide the scars.
Trying to change my ways,
Because I'm so sick and tired
Of hurting the ones I love.

This thing inside of me,
He me trapped inside a net.
A tortuous net,
Not allowing this fish to swim free
Cutting it from left to right,
Gradually killing it off.

So please save me from this way of life.
I do not wish to die like this,
Feeling unaccomplished and full of misery,
Always crying myself to sleep.

Rescue me from this net,
And quickly heal my wounds,
Put all my pieces together,
Because no one but you can.
For you are the only one who can.
