Her Life

by Katlynn   Dec 28, 2006

She's sitting in here room.
scared of society, scared of herself.
her life is something else.
everyone takes her away.
but now and then she stays.

her friends love her to death.
care about her health.
her life that she has ahead of herself.
but she doesn't see it.

last night she did something.
like the other night she promised.
promised not to do it again.
but again and again she did it.
she thinks she's a piece of shit.
here and then.

the tears fall from her eyes.
like the rain from the sky.
the death of someone new.
someone we known forever.
has died today has she shivers.

she hears the news.
doesn't know what to do.
she hands herself a bottle of pills.
she judges herself and takes two.

about a minute and a half.
she takes more then half.
shes laying their in her room.
talking on the phone.
acting like everything is OK.
the tears shed from each silence.

no one knows whats going on.
the person on the other end doesn't.
her parents in the next room doesn't.

her mind is going crazy.
she decides to get off the phone.
take a breath and try to sleep.
the next day she wakes.
wishing she was dead.
wishing she wasn't confused.
because she thinks the one she loves.
well doesn't love her back.

she does this once in a while.
when she doesn't get a call.
shes waiting for the fall.
so move out of here.
to live somewhere else.
where she doesn't feel sick.
where she wants to be loved.

so college is next year.
trying to find one where i can move.
maybe I'll find something.
maybe i won't.
maybe I'll finish the bottle of pills.

I really liked that. you have an intriguing style, and I also like the subject matter. I like how it ended with a bunch of maybes, reflecting the way that noone knows how their life is going to go XX
