I Accidentally Killed Myself

I kept going in the same direction
The same way of getting hurt
It was a bad selection
Getting treated like dirt

Going to the same place
Making the same mistake
Sadness on my face
Slowly as my heart breaks

My man lied
He stopped calling
I really tried
But I ended up falling

It was an accident
I promise, I swear!
Alone without a hand lent
The pain was more than I could bear

I was slowly dying inside
I didn't even know
The storm within wouldn't subside
I didn't know where to go

I felt like I had lost
And I had to go on
It would all be the past
And be all gone

It wasn't that easy
I had to continue living
I couldn't see
Because of all my crying

Being stabbed in the heart
Opening up the wound
Falling apart
And meeting death soon

I accidentally killed myself
I appear to be alive
I have good health
But within, death has arrived

Life seems too painful
The world is too dark
I'm a lonely lost soul
Left with a reminiscing mark

No one's got my back
To help me up when I'm down
Not knowing what I lack
Having my face in a frown

I'm living a death
Looking up at the skies
Losing my breath
As everything is reflected back in my own eyes...
