Just A Game

by FlawlesslyTarnished   Jan 4, 2007

It started out to be a game
it was just like a fling
nothing more, nothing serious
but soon, it became a "thing."

he cuddled with her
he played around with her
she had no idea what she had
Until it was over.
she didn't want the cuddling
she wanted to get away
it wasn't long after
that she realized her mistake.
this no longer was a game
she wanted something more
not a fling or a "one-night stand"
but having someone to adore.
she realized how much she liked him
she soon realized what she'd had
he was beginning to lose interest
she had to win him back.
but the problem was that she was scared
scared of getting hurt again
she didn't want it back
she didn't want the pain.
she really wants something more
but she's afraid to say
because what if he doesn't?
what if he pushes her away?

it was all just a game
until her feelings changed
now nothing will EVER..
EVER be the same. =[
