The meaning of life

by Espoirfailed   Jan 8, 2007

You can find the meaning of life
In the reflection of your knife.
And all the world's explained
In your glimmering razor blade
And all the things you've ever felt
Come out as you tie the belt
Around your neck.
And your stomach gets so sick
From imagining them at it,
So you put your fingers down your throat
In the attempt at keeping afloat
And maybe if you get thin
You can have him back
You can win.
But you're already to skinny
A fragile mess of bones
Left piled in a heap
Left standing on their own.
Touch one and it'll break
Don't comfort me
For my own sake.
