Stolen Words

by Strange Angel   Jan 9, 2007

*i seriously hope i don't offend ANYONE with this poem, as it is meant light heartedly, although if you don't know me, you may not quite understand my sense of humour. It is mainly aimed at one person, infact completely aimed at one person, who knows who she is, and who i hope doesn't take offence at me calling her evil, spiteful and malicious.... LOVE YOU*

I look for solace in your words
Those beautiful words that both calm and destroy
Words which cast a spell upon me
And I lose all that is I,
Becoming at once a being created
By the magical flow of your mind.

Take comfort and care in your song
Find peace and desire within
Allow me to live my alias
Within your fantasy world
So perfect yet tainted it's real
A better place to reside.

But you stole those words away
From the world but also from me
You're evil and spiteful, malicious
You've taken away my respite
And I curse those beings of hatred
Whose theft pushed you to do this.

And now I am left with this chasm
A huge irreparable void
With those others who can't capture beauty
As your pen so often did
Those inarticulate fools with no mercy
Continue to slaughter our language.

Now our world looks so bleak
With your poetry kept locked away
A mind is no canvas for artwork
You should be screaming your words to the world
But instead we're left with this desolate place in disgrace
Because you stole your words away.
