A New Perspective

Time And Matter are all so important,
Imagination doesn't have a purpose,
Dark times still come to pass,
Faithful moments don't seem to last,

Introduce me to the restricted mind,
Introduce me to the path I'll regret,

Let's give in,
And not think of our actions,
Let's give in,
And not think of the outcome
Let's give in, And become worldly and fake,
And fight for a cause with no purpose,

So confused you don't know what to do,
Even when the right choice is obvious And straight In front of you,
So let go of fear and don't let it kick in,
Even when Times get hard, Or you'll end up like them,

Light the candle to start a new life

Get Away from the ways of society,
Make this your one Priority,

Focus on the real things,
Don't give into lust or feelings,
Focus on the life you're in
Don't let life stray towards sin,

Don't extinguish The candle,
Cause it's so hard to light again,

    ^ For me, these 4 lines were the best in the entire poem - but I think this is because I can probably relate to them the most.

    I'll be honest, I do like this poem better than your other one though. :) But they're both still amazing poems. The flow was perfect, and your word choice was incredible.
