A Land of Sleep and Dreams

by Jemma   Jan 15, 2007

Gone on
Lost in the unfamiliar
To dwell in sleep, in dreams
A smile that stays forever
Even when you close your eyes
He talks of angels
A house open for all
Where your last steps shall take you
To dwell in sleep, in dreams
It's a silent night
Now your voice is missing
But I never saw you leave
So many doors opened
And you took the one that lead away
There's an ocean right here
Because the tears keep coming
The white fill the room
So strange to see your name
In floral letters
So strange thinking of you this way
Can't explain the way we feel
Now you're gone on
To dwell in sleep, in dreams
To dwell where you'll never be alone
But we stay on
Holding on to our memories
A world of dreams
And we don't know what we can do
When he talks of angels
And a land of sleep and dreams
