Tears tell a story
Sometimes happy, sometimes sad
Each one hold a memory
From the past that you once had
As they fall down your face
They leave a stain on your cheek
A little trail of a reminder
That this day, you shall forever keep
They may fall at any time of day
During the sunshine, snow, or rain
Lots of things can cause you to cry
The feeling is confusing; is it happiness or pain
So tears can tell a story
You know, to each thier own
Tears can fade, memories can't
They're forever set in stone
