Your Love Lives In Me

by RainbowSlider   Jan 16, 2007

It hurt so bad when you were taken away.
I cried so much after that horrible day.
My friends tried to console me anyway.
It got so bad that I couldn't even pray.

There was the shock that you were gone.
I kept reliving that fact from dusk to dawn.
Everything died to me and I became a pawn.
Meaningless but they said I must move on.

Then the rage came and it consumed all.
Darkness and loneliness made me small.
Icy teeth gripped my heart with its maw.
So frozen and the demons came to claw.

They tried to burn out all of my joy.
To them I was just a little child's toy.
They wanted so much me to destroy.
That was when I was just a small boy.

Finally, they started to go after my sanity.
They tried to deprive me of my serenity.
It seemed like hell was my only destiny.
They didn't know your love lives in me.
