Collapsing Wall.

by Teria   Jan 16, 2007

One wall, one heart,
both made to tear apart.
One line, one soul
both made but never whole.
One roof, one drop of blood
a million tears begin to flood.

Building up within this wall,
leaking now, pressured to fall.
Memories are held in the center,
all black and white, and colder than winter.
Chipping edges as it can't stand tall..

Bricks now black, with hinds of mold.
Inside the heart broken and cold.
Cracks down the wall,
it's beginning to fall.

Everything now rushing out,
while remembering what life is all about.
Pain held within, emotions out of route..

Wondering why times have changed,
Why her mind was rearranged.

Surety not for a collapsing wall.

I really like this poem. the first stanza is amaaazinggg!! but there are some flowing problems that come into place in the third stanza. and some of the rhymes seem a little bit forced. just a few simple things that can be fixed easily.

but all in all great job. it was really creative.
