Dreading Tomorrow.

by Teria   Jan 16, 2007

Words won't come at,
tears won't even fall.
Smiles won't become real,
lies won't tell how I feel.

Millions of prayers,
ring through this house.
Not one answered, yet.
but I still won't forget

The meaning of life,
beneath my bare feet.
Becoming hard as stone,
I'm feeling so alone.

Memories made, never to leave.
But you're gone, what's left to believe?
Now, just empty thoughts to fill my mind,
Telling all, I'm perfectly fine.

Words, won't come out,
and could never begin
to even express,
to me you were the best.

Tears won't even fall,
to show at least..
One ounce of forbidden sorrow,
no one knows.. I'm dreading tomorrow.

    Wow...
The last line was such a perfect ending, I thought that it really stood out.
The wording was a pleasure to read and you did a great job with the imagery.
