Life and Death Do Not So Differ

by Jemma   Jan 16, 2007

"You fear your death, my love?
I ask you why, right now.
Life and death do not so differ,
One a new beginning
And the other is just a fresh start.
Now, tell me love,
Why is one to be preferred?
You'd do naught but sleep in either"

**could be considered slightly humourous I guess. I've put it in Poems about Life. I'm not really sure is this is the right place**

    .....your 'humour' is downright Shakespearean......

.....The first and the last have I now received
What's best is yet to be perceived.............

    Have a look...;-)
