Grandpa
You were so strong
You held on for so long
Grandpa
I just want to hear your voice again
I want to say goodbye
Iâ??ll love you until the day I die
Grandpa
I never got to tell you how much you meant to me
I hope your looking down on me today
So I can thank you for every way
You made me smile
Grandpa
You were so important to me
I prayed for you to make it to Christmas
But your still here with me
Grandpa
I wished this day would have never came
But youâ??re in a better place now
The angels took you way
Grandpa
I love you so much
I never new how hard it would be
But to this day
When Iâ??m reading this poem

    This was cute. i think the repitition or grandpa gave it more of an affect. i thought of a little girl who was badly hurt, but super close to her grandpa but was happy hes in a better place.

    I think you could take out a couple of the "grandpa's" and it might flow a little bit better but other than that nice piece work
