Mystic Haze

by Tonya   Jan 21, 2007

Ecliptic fingers glide through a thickened cloudy haze
draped over the blackness of a dismal night
Laboring to regain her rule covering the unhallowed
intent with an exclusionary light

Mystical frenzy searches through eyes of no reflection
for an unwitting debilitating soul
Unforgiving of those ancient remorseful sins
an essence impure becomes her goal

Piercing shrills invade the dull calmness of assurance
marking her purpose with a menacing melody
Unbridled fear chills the heart with a frightful vision
of alabaster skin and razored teeth bloody

Striking with wailing laughter and a pernicious grin
this body lie a red fleshy distorted mass
Sacred spirit a native gem quelled another banshee
by the eye of my people her own demise came to pass
