Can you tell me how to start living again
I just can't seem to get it right
All I ever get is disappointment
You took my life the day you left me
You said it was for the better
But it wasn't

I'm drowning in this dead soul
I feel so rotted out but still I'm breathing
Can't you see that it was never true
I had worked so hard for nothing
So what's the point in trying
All I seem to do is fail

All I did was love you
And all I got was a bullet in my heart
I wish you would've aimed for my head
Cause I can't take this pain anymore

My fake happiness won't work anymore
I try to keep the act going on
But my tears are starting to show through
You can believe the lies if you want
But I told you the truth
My word should have mattered over hers

I want you to know you've broken me
You've ripped apart my soul and replaced it with these empty fragments
I hope you can live with yourself after this
You've just signed my death sentence
I hope it comes sooner than later
Cause this is worse than death

I want you to hurt so bad that you pray for death
Than maybe I'll finally move on
And hopefully I'll be able to start living again
