Sweet Bear,

It's been so hard for me to speak,
these feelings in my heart.
Yet I can't ignore them as it beats,
the pain seems to grow as we remain apart.

It's strangling my world,
to never see your face.
I'm really missing my girl,
and wanting her warm embrace.

And it hurts to know that no matter what I do,
or how often I cry.
My power is overcome by something so cruel,
even though I'm giving all every time I try.

Never knowing when I'll see you,
feel your breath and smell your hair.
Does not diminish my hope so true,
that he'll leave us alone and no longer care.

Because when our tears fall gingerly to the floor,
and our sighs exhale like fervent storms.
Should we never forget the angels keeping score,
