Breathe In Me

by LadyPearl   Jan 22, 2007

Winter has come for me
A swan beneath a sea of white
Wearing pearls in threes
Given by a moonlight sprite

Dancing it whispers songs
It lays an untamed path in front
To where it lead I know not
But the faint cry of an awaiting hunt

Dear Artemis guide me now
Through the beauty of barren stalks
Breathe in me sweet nature
Pass thy illusions within empty bark

Show me not what is shown
But the heart of a mother's touch
Though I possess a soul as well
My hearth shall never be as much

Winter free me from colors
It's taste I've held far too long
Such gentleness in silence
A shelter for wanderers all along
