Time with you

by ben thompson   Jan 22, 2007

The first time I saw you we were both with someone else.
Your angelic beauty still caused my lonely heart to melt.

Under that glorious spell, infectious laughter we shared.
Though we were just friends, you know I've always cared.

Now I get to hold you, squeeze two hearts to one.
Share these special times, raise our darling son.

I'm not sure what the future holds, but one thing is clear.
For good or bad, better or worse I will hold you near.

All my times are better when their shared with you.
I can picture our eternity in a chariot built for two.

Living lasting memories till the sunlight fades.
No one lives forever, so lets not waste these days.

Lets keep pressing forward, shatter all the molds.
Accomplish every task, and reach every goal.

And all that I require to make my dreams come true,
is to be able to spend all my time with you.
