Losing You

by Vic   Jan 23, 2007

Helpless within myself,
I watch as our distance grows.
Why we're off this way,
I'm not sure I even know.
It could be me again,
Not trying to be pessimistic.
But looking at what we've been through,
I'm just being realistic.

The day never ends
Without you crying at least once.
Seeing as you're never sad,
It must've been something I've done.
At the end of the day,
I always bring you down.
You try cheering me with your smile,
I reward you with a frown.

Lately it's been storming,
Our skies dark shades of gray.
I want to change that now,
I'm trying my best today.
I'll start with my apology,
And my sincerest vows.
Please accept and forgive,
I don't want to lose you now...
