Sun light (Sonnet)

by EmptyEyes   Jan 24, 2007

Shall I compare thee with the rising sun.
Who's color so strong yet gracefully done.
All skies glory full, when in thee's bright glow.
Waves of envy, hidden jealousy's flow

The ocean can partially imitate.
Words can only, at most, have you degrade.
Oh how thee warmth posses a sweet caress.
How I long thee without any recess.

Dark fills the sky while the moon goes up high
I break the silence with thee-longing sigh
How does one sleep with the sun in his eye.
If this heart would be all but pain, what lie.

And I fear drowning in the quiet night
For that I may not wake to see thee light.
