Simply: I love you

by Poetically Speaking   Jan 24, 2007

When your heart aches, and loneliness
settles within, remember the groundwork
of our love, and nothing can rift our covenant
which gives meaning to our lives.

For you, my sprite, resemble in so many ways
my age old love for the undemanding in life.
Without hesitation, you became a symbol
of light and honest virtue to my world.

The tunnel leading to my heart, once blocked
suddenly became free and set forth a zephyr
which encompassed my soul
and altered my journey.

For should I never forget thee,
in my travels, far and wide.
As I'll forever carry your womb,
as it carries me inside.
