To feel you here.

by Sarah Ann   Jan 25, 2007

Frozen bits of snowflakes fall
Upon my windowsill
My ears are covered, I'm enthralled
And you are speaking still

But I don't want to hear your words
They're killing me inside
I'll become deaf; pretend I heard,
And hold my head up high.

You kiss my cold and blackened lips,
Embrace me with your grace
A sullen fight, then sudden kiss,
I'm falling out of place.

In your eyes, I lose myself,
So let's not go...anywhere else.

I want to wake and feel you here.
