Companion

by EmptyEyes   Jan 25, 2007

How far must I go?
To sit with an other soul,
That shows complete indifference to difference.
What must I give?
To sit with another soul,
Who enjoys the joys of giving?

Or is it I?
Who is in doubt and fear?
Who doesn't listen with his ear?
Or is it I?
Who has the dogmatic belief?
Who thinks wants are needs.
Who thinks they're filled with corrupted deeds.

It was foolish for me to ignorantly think
That door will widely open,
And that crawler won't quickly sink.
Since it is I, a human, who must first simply have it tweak.
