Opposites attract

Hell Keeps me up here,
heaven keeps me down,
storms smile upon me,
whilst the sun it does frown.

Friends keep me crazy,
harm keeps me sane,
hurt from the happiness
happiness from pain.

Tears from the smiles,
smiles from the sobs,
lonliness from crowds,
poverty from jobs.

Food makes me hungry,
drink makes me dry,
A lock without a key
effortless to try.

To live is to be dying,
to laugh is to lie,
to look is blinding
and wishing to fly.
