CHANCES [let me out]

by ALEX   Jan 28, 2007

Me heart's feeling empty.
My body's a shell.
Emotions forthcoming;
A bottomless well.

My pretty black kitty.
She drowns in confines.
Trapped in a twisted, tangled web
Of imaginary lines.

My secret's handsome, sea-green eyes.
A stare. A glimpse. A glance.
Too phobic for rejection,
Instead, we'll share a dance.

A Sister's love,
Each dims the other.
They suffocate compassion,
As they try to shine brighter.

So many chances,
To let yourself out.
Don't shy away from their love.
There's simply no room for doubt.

Well, if you want honesty. That is what you will get. The flow was horrible, try managing that. The lines seemed forced to rhyme and the emotion wasn't even there for me to read. Better luck next time, kid.
