Lying here with tears streaming from my eyes
Counting the moments to our final goodbyes
I lay my hand on my chest and feel my heart
I feel it breaking to pieces while falling apart

I turn to the window and see the rain stop
And dry my reddened eyes as my tears drop
I don't want us be blown away just like dust
Keeping this friendship strong is an utter must

How could you be moving an ocean away
You don't know how much I want you stay
If I could keep you here, you know I would
But there's no way I can and I wish I could
...I just wish I could
