I Miss...

by Ashley Dulin   Feb 3, 2007

I miss the eyes that pierced my heart,
the heart that began to upstart.
I miss the hand that cupped my breast
the fingers that made me quiver with each caress.
I miss the lips that kissed my earlobe,
as you slowly began to disrobe.
I miss the breath that grazed my neck,
the breath that down my body it did trek.
I miss the body snuggled to mine,
with your arm wrapped softly around my mid line.
I miss the whispers in my ear at night,
the whispers exchanged deep into the starlight.
I miss the tender strokes,
that gently sent me into a sleep, without a need to coax.
I miss the arms around me holding me tight and secure,
a feeling in which is so pure.
the words that burned so deep within my soul,
the words that make me whole.
