Loose Reins

by Jemma   Feb 5, 2007

Fighting the bit all the way
I have to tear away
Back to the hills
Where I should belong
I have to get away
And jump over those trees
And cross the streams
Those that have filled my imagination
As long as I can remember
Loose reins
One moment I’m free
The next being held
Helplessly
The dream is gone
But every time the reins give way
I can let my mind wander
To the home where I belong

THANKyouthankyou....I never meant to use a capital I....I simply missed it...which, honestly, is unusual so....Once I saw it, it glared......Your instincts did not fail you, there was No hidden reason...chuckle....

As for poetry.....I understand.....It is what it Is, they come as they come....the Voice of the Soul needs Attention.............and, of course, Guidance...;-)
