Walking Corpses

by Miss Pipp   Feb 14, 2007

Starvation and hunger is all to be seen
Disease and sickness will go untreated
Cells full of people, punished for what they are

A child cries in the distance
He's been taken from his mother
Too young to realize what's going on

Time drags on
the sun sets on another day of death
guards control the camp

Another day ends
Exhausted children fall asleep
Only terror fills their dreams

As the new day dawns
We fear death is better than this
We are waiting, wishing for it
Nothing but walking corpses

This is really sad! Very well written though.
