Alone

She smiles so you never knew..
All of the things that she went through..
At school she was the center of a crowd..
Always talking, and laughing out loud.

When she got home, she took off her mask..
Never doing what her parents would ask..
She stopped midway, as if in a trance..
She walked past her mirror and stole a glance.

She spun around, as she threw her fist..
Breaking the mirror, with glass in her wrist..
Finally she reached her limit..
As the blood surfaced, after a minute.

She dragged the glass along her skin..
To release the pain within..
She fell to the ground..
Without a sound.

Alone she cries..
Alone she dies..
Alone.
